Lottie, a local mom of three and trained mental health specialist, knows firsthand how heavy motherhood can feel — especially for women navigating birth trauma, identity loss, and mental health struggles.

Now, she’s turning her own experience into a community movement.
Her new initiative, Grounded Momma Movement CIC, offers funded mental health mentoring for local moms who feel like they’re drowning in the pressure of motherhood.

“After my own difficult births and traumatic thoughts, I realised how few services really met the needs of struggling mothers — especially outside of a crisis,” Lottie says.
That’s why she created Heal, Mother, Thrive — a unique 12-week program blending trauma-informed support, grounding techniques, and compassionate mentoring.

It’s designed for moms who:
Feel anxious or disconnected after birth
Experience intrusive thoughts or panic
Are burnt out from balancing motherhood, work and expectations
Carry guilt, shame, or feel like they’ve “lost themselves”
Mothers are matched with Lottie for weekly trauma-informed sessions, lifetime self-soothing tools, and wraparound community support — all delivered online so it fits around real life.
“You don’t have to wait until you ‘fall apart’ to get support,” says Lottie. “You’re allowed to ask for help even if you look like you’re coping on the outside.”
Thanks to newly secured funding, the program is now available completely free of charge to eligible moms across Dudley and the Black Country.
Whether you’ve had a difficult birth, are overwhelmed by the mental load, or just want to feel like yourself again — this space was created for you.
