Hungry? Local charity’s café launches Grab and Go breakfast deal

The cafe, which is run by the local charity that provides specialist palliative and bereavement support, helps raise vital funds for its services. It has recently launched a new menu with delicious breakfast treats on offer

Hungry commuters can grab breakfast on the go between 8 and 11am on weekdays and treat themselves to any Danish pastry, turnover, or granola pot, plus a hot drink for just £5.

Tom Keen, Compton Care’s Catering Services Manager, shared: "We’re delighted to launch our new Grab and Go breakfast deal, which sits alongside our regular breakfast menu. We know that people are busy on weekday mornings, so this deal offers great value for money for those who just need to grab a quick breakfast on their way to work or on the school run.

“For anyone visiting the Hall, shopping at the Nearly New store or out on a local ramble, Crumbles is a lovely place to sit back and relax. You can set yourself up for the day with a filling breakfast classic, relax over lunch with our flavour-packed deli sandwiches and tasty salads or treat yourself to a cuppa and a slice of cake. We’ve also got a fabulous outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the spring weather. Dogs are welcome too.”

Proceeds from Crumbles Coffee House contribute to the specialist care Compton Care provides to local people living with life limiting conditions and support for their families.

The cafe is open Monday to Saturday, 8am – 4pm.
