This popular event invites local businesses, community groups, and supporters to enjoy a day of friendly competition, networking, and fundraising while enjoying the stunning surroundings of one of Staffordshire’s finest golf courses.
Players will enjoy a full round of golf in teams of four, delicious food, and a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, all to support a vital cause. Money raised from the day will go toward funding the specialist care and support Katharine House Hospice provides free of charge to patients and their families across the region.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming teams to this year’s Golf Day,” said Lyndsey Howard, Community and Events Fundraiser at Katharine House Hospice.

“It’s a fantastic day out, and every swing helps ensure we can continue delivering the compassionate care that so many people in our community rely on.
“Huge thanks to the staff at Brocton Hall Golf Club for hosting us again, and to our sponsors, RAE Build and Pickering & Butters solicitors.”
Jan Boulter, Managing Partner from Pickering & Butters said: “We are delighted once again to support this great event.
“This year marks 30 years of Pickering & Butters supporting the hospice, in what is their 35th anniversary year.
“The services and support that the hospice offers is invaluable to so many families in and around our local area, and we are proud to have supported the hospice in all that it does.”
Spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged. Local businesses are invited to get involved through sponsorship opportunities, prize donations, or entering a team.
Trophies and special prizes are awarded for first and second place, nearest the pin and longest drive.
The Shropshire Ladies, who’ve taken part since the charity’s very first Golf Day almost 20 years ago, said: “It’s a charity close to our hearts. We’ve lost neighbours who spent their last days at the hospice, it’s such an important cause. And we love playing at Brocton, it’s a beautiful course.”
