Evolution Claims Management, which has built its reputation by using technology to handle claims for the UK’s leading insurance brands, has developed Evo Subsidence to specialise in delivering prompt diagnostics and repairs where appropriate, with the aim of reducing the claim lifecycle and associated customer frustrations.

Having doubled staff numbers since 2020 to 55 employees, the West Midlands-based company is confident that indemnity spend will be reduced along with associated fees, with both being fixed by solution.

Evo Subsidence will draw upon the specialist’s direct labour supply of trusted engineers and surveyors to carry out diagnostic work and property investigations, before accessing expert contractors to conduct any appropriate repairs required.

CEO Russell Crewe said the new proposition would make Evolution Claims Management increasingly attractive for partnerships within the insurance market.

Russell said: “Evolution Claims Management has built its reputation by using technology to disrupt the established market sectors so we recognised subsidence claims offer another great opportunity to deliver high levels of technical expertise in a new and innovative cost effective way.

“We will be offering a prompt diagnostic service, utilising desk and site visits and thorough inspections of each property to evaluate the steps needed.

“Not only will we shorten the claim life cycle, we aim to fix fees and ultimately reduce indemnity spend, benefitting our clients and their customers at every step of the way.

“With more propositions in the pipeline we are delighted to offer this new specialism to generate more positive impact as we grow the business.”

The subsidence proposition launch follows the appointment of an experienced head of professional services to lead on larger claims.

Jim Pittman joined Evolution Claims Management recently to oversee loss adjusting and surveying for complex claims and will lead on Evo Subsidence.

Privately owned since its 2016 launch, Evolution Claims Management has built a reputation for delivering transparent services for insurers by operating a fixed fee model whereby charges remain the same regardless of the repair value.

The business, which has its headquarters in Oldbury, has focussed on people development by appointing a dedicated Talent Development Manager and delivering management training for staff to enhance their skills.
