From Friday 16 – Sunday 18 May, Drayton Manor is offering free entry to all guests named Thomas*, alongside an array of giveaways, character meet-and-greets, and much more throughout Thomas Land.
Every day, one lucky family will also be selected to win a £100 voucher to spend in the Thomas Land Shop.
Furthermore, guests are invited to participate in Thomas’ Quiet Quest, created in partnership with the National Autistic Society. This calming adventure invites visitors to explore Thomas Land at their own pace and, once complete, a special prize will be waiting in the Thomas Land Shop. With a suggested donation of £2.50 for the trail, Drayton Manor is proudly supporting the National Autistic Society, and its mission of creating a society that works for autistic people and their families.
Victoria Lynn, managing director at Drayton Manor, comments: “As the home of Europe’s only Thomas Land, we’re thrilled to be part of Thomas & Friends™ 80th anniversary celebrations, with plenty of entertainment and activities for our guests to enjoy across both weekends.
“We appreciate that for some of our guests, noise levels can be a concern. Therefore, on 16 May, we will be hosting quiet mornings until 1pm with reduced sound levels, no music, and minimal tannoy announcements. Guests who prefer a quieter experience are also invited to enjoy a stroll through the zoo to learn more about the many animals who call it home.
“Thomas & Friends™ isn’t the only one marking a milestone this year, as Drayton Manor celebrates its 75th anniversary. With fireworks weekends, themed events, and live entertainment throughout the summer, there’s plenty for people to enjoy every time they visit.”
For visitors looking to extend the fun even more, there's Drayton Manor’s onsite hotel. With an array of accommodation to choose from, including Thomas & Friends™ themed rooms, guests can choose to relax and unwind surrounded by their favourite engines, including Thomas, Percy, and James.
Alongside Europe’s only Thomas Land, Drayton Manor is home to over 50 exhilarating rides and attractions, including the recently opened Gold Rush and The Wave, and a zoo that is home to over 500 animals from all over the world.
