Selfless local dad surprised with £77 Snappy Shopper store dash
Dael John was cheered on by his family and friends as he took part in the Snappy Shopper Store Dash at Nisa Glenthorne Drive last week.

The family man was given 60 seconds to run around the shop and grab as much as he could, with the basket total paid for by Snappy Shopper.
The super dad and husband, who secured three bags of shopping totalling £77.83, was nominated by several community members.
Jane Marsh, his partner, saying: “he’s been a huge support over the past year while my daughter has fought and beat cancer my mom’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis and now he’s looking after me after my surgery so I think he deserves a treat!”
Another adding: “for the support he has given his wife while she’s been ill recently”.
Dael was delighted and added that he’d be sharing his winnings with his partner Jane.
With a mix of sensible necessities in his basket, like dinner items, freezer fillers and drinks, he also made sure to grab himself something nice too.
