From Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 June, two of the UK’s best-loved lifestyle events come together for four spectacular days at the NEC Birmingham. With exciting new Show Gardens, fresh themes, the Make a Metre Matter campaign, new experts and stages, plus brilliant shopping and hands-on experiences, BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2025 is bursting with colour, creativity and inspiration.

At the same time, Good Food Show Summer is serving up a delicious new line-up of chefs, tastings and workshops – including the Big Kitchen, Summer Kitchen, Masala Masterclasses and cocktail sessions – alongside top names like James Martin, Lisa Faulkner and Hairy Biker, Si King. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro – from small space gardening to mastering your summer menu – this is the ultimate summer day out, all in one ticket.

Throughout the event, BBC Gardeners’ World Live will offer inspirational advice from green-fingered experts, including Monty Don, Frances Tophill, Adam Frost, Rachel de Thame, Nick Bailey, and more in the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre and the Let’s Talk Plants Stage.

Bringing BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine’s Make a Metre Matter campaign to life, which encourages people to transform one metre of outdoor space to help the planet, BBC Gardener’s World presenter Nick Bailey has designed the show’s headline Show Garden, The Plant-Based Garden. The plastic and concrete-free garden has a homestead feel and will be packed with eco-friendly highlights, resources and materials, including block planting metres with raised beds to highlight the possibilities of growing vegetables in even the smallest of spaces.

Following the popularity of last year’s headline Show Garden, ‘The Chef’s Table’, this year BBC Gardeners’ World Live will showcase Adam Frost’s Tasting Table – a unique, interactive and exclusive experience that combines gardening and gastronomy. The experience will see Adam bring flavours from the garden to life with the support of culinary experts and guest chefs from Good Food Show Summer, including Rachel Allen, Chris Bavin, Si King, James Martin, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner, and Good Food’s Barney Desmazery and Cassie Best.

BBC Gardeners’ World Live boasts an impressive array of Beautiful Borders, packed with creative ideas to help visitors make the most of small spaces or reimagine unused spaces. Visitors can also pick up inspiration and advice from the Let’s Talk Plants Stage, Green Rooms House Plant Stage and In Conversation With Stage.

One of the country’s largest Floral Marquees is home to the International Orchid Show, the Hot Off the Potting Bench new plants gallery, the Plant Experts’ advice desk and displays by specialist plant nurseries and growers, and is set to be packed with plants to discover, browse, and buy. Plus, budding and expert gardeners alike can put their green fingers to work at the show’s new mushroom growing masterclasses.

In addition to BBC Gardeners’ World Live, Good Food Show Summer will tantalise taste buds with a feast of features running throughout the four-day event. The Big Kitchen, sponsored by HexClad is back, where food fans can look forward to live demonstrations from a line-up of world class chefs and experts including James Martin, Si King (The Hairy Biker), John Torode MBE and Lisa Faulkner. New for 2025, there’s Rachel Allen, Tony Singh and Cyrus Todiwala.

The Summer Kitchen is the perfect place to go if you’re looking to bring some sunshine to your cooking. Hosted by Chris Bavin, join a sizzling line-up featuring Brin Pirathapan, Renu Bhardwaj, Max La Manna, The Flygerians, Becky Excell, Jeremy Pang, Good Food Rising Star Georgia Hughes and more.

At the Let’s Talk Good Food Stage, catch the Good Food Podcast recording live with host Sam Goldsmith and stars including Rachel Allen, Claire Thomson, Si King, Jeremy Pang, John Torode, Lisa Faulkner, Tony Singh, The Flygerians, and Cyrus Todiwala. Host Barney Desmazery will then cover hot foodie topics with culinary icons, from easy weeknight cooking with Brin Pirathapan and loving your leftovers to summer Sunday roasts with Matt Tebbutt and the world of cheese with James Martin. Don’t miss Jane Dunn of Jane’s ‘s session for sunny-day baking inspiration.

The Summer Workshops return including new Masala Spice Masterclasses with Cyrus Todiwala, and cocktail masterclasses with Andy Clarke, showing visitors how to create the perfect botanical drink for the summer. Katy Truss from Fabulous Food Finds presents ‘New finds’, an exciting new curated tasting session where you can discover and taste products from the Shows food and drink producers.

The Good Food Wine Club hosted by Laithwaites and Grant Hedley is the place to discover perfect wines for summer with a focus on English wines and perfect summer pairings. New sessions include wines for a British garden, plus a cheese and wine pairing tasting led by Good Food’s Editor Keith Kendrick.

It wouldn’t be the Good Food Show Summer without the chance to shop from hundreds of incredible brands, artisan producers and must-have foodie finds. It’s the perfect place to taste, try, and take home your new favourites. Hot off the shelf, the show will welcome an exciting new wave of artisan producers. From the rich, indulgent spreads of Joy Spread to the fiery delights of Chilli Pete and the bold cacao blends from Full Power Cacao, this year’s newcomers are not to be missed. Discover the Mediterranean charm of Olive Architect, zingy sauces from Nikki’s Nutty Sauce, and plant-based goodness from Nourish & Glow. Plus, the show will spotlight brand-new product launches including Harry’s Hot Honey, the latest gourmet pasta sauces from Truffle guys, Bonne Maman’s newest ranges, and more.

Renowned for famous faces, inspiration, shopping and magic moments around every corner, BBC Gardeners’ World Live and Good Food Show Summer welcome more than 90,000 visitors every year. With two shows included in one ticket, it’s a great-value event for people looking for summer ideas.
