Staffordshire homebuilder supports Armed Forces Charity

Barratt Homes has donated £500 to the Burton and Uttoxeter division of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, which provides welfare and wellbeing support to serving military personnel, veterans, and their families.

SSAFA’s Burton and Uttoxeter division is based close to the housebuilder’s Poppy Fields development.

SSAFA provides welfare and wellbeing support to members of the Armed Forces family in communities across the UK and abroad. All tailored to individual needs, its community of volunteers, colleagues and supporters help active personnel, veterans and their families when they confront some of life’s darkest challenges.

Trevor North, Divisional Secretary at Burton and Uttoxeter SSAFA, said: “Our purpose is to reach and embrace our Armed Forces family, so they never battle alone. We are very grateful to the team at Barratt Homes for its donation, which will help our team of volunteers to give tailored support to serving personnel, veterans and their families in the Burton and Uttoxeter communities.”
