Each year, the Royal British Legion (RBL) has led a service of remembrance in honour of this, to commemorate those that made the ultimate sacrifice to maintain our freedom.

You are invited to join RBL Wolverhampton, along with a King's representative in the West Midlands, and The Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton, plus Veterans as we observe a minute's silence, and pay our respects at St Peter's Square Cenotaph on Thursday, 8 May between 10.45am and 11.15am.

RBL Wolverhampton meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon in the Electric Club, St Mark's Road, Chapel Ash. You do not need to have served to become a member.
