This special event honours the memory of Jane Webb while raising vital funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice.

Marking a decade of community support, the match takes on added significance this year amid uncertainty surrounding the future of The War Memorial Ground. The event is spearheaded by former Stourbridge player Matt Webb, club chairman Andy Pountney, and Aston Villa Goalkeeping Coach Mark Naylor, with hopes of reaching an incredible milestone of £100,000 raised since the match began.

But it’s not just about football. The day promises something for everyone with a huge family fun day at the ground. Visitors can enjoy a football merchandise stall, Hook-a-duck, Tombola’s, a Nerf gun arena, penalty shootout and delicious food stalls. Fans will also get the unique opportunity to meet football icons like Albion legend Bob Taylor and Wolves star Don Goodman, who will be on hand for photos and autographs during a special meet-and-greet session.

Adding to the excitement, there will be a charity auction featuring signed memorabilia from Aston Villa, Wolves, and Albion — a perfect chance to own a piece of football history while supporting a worthy cause.

James Totney, Deputy Head of Fundraising at The Mary Stevens Hospice, shared: “The day is shaping up to be a wonderful celebration of football and community. We’re thrilled to welcome the legends back to the pitch and to share such a special event with our supporters. With sunshine on the forecast and something for everyone to enjoy, we’re looking forward to seeing Stourbridge FC packed with families and fans alike.”

Don’t miss this unforgettable day of fun, football, and fundraising — all in support of a cause that touches so many lives. Gates open at 12 noon.

Tickets can be purchased on the day or booked in advance online at marystevenshospice.co.uk/event/football-day-2/
