Cygnet Hospital Oldbury, a 27-bed PICU and acute mental health service for women, on Salop Drive in Oldbury, recently raised £40 for Mind with an Easter raffle.
Mind provides support for people struggling with their mental health across England and Wales.
The charity, chosen by staff members, campaigns for better mental health services and opportunities in the workplace as well as educating employers on creating mentally healthy environments.
Staff at Cygnet Hospital Oldbury donated all of the prizes for the raffle such as Mini Eggs, Easter Eggs and a variety of sweets.
Tickets were available at £1 per strip and saw staff, patients and family members try their luck in winning a prize.
Rebecca Sheppard, Cygnet Health Care Administrator at the service, highlighted the success of the fundraiser.
She said: “Our Easter raffle was a great success and raised money that is vital for Mind. Everyone enjoyed the raffle and winning the prizes.
“Mind is an important charity as they make mental health a topic that is openly spoken about every day. It supports people by giving help when it is needed and it also provides advice and information through local services across many communities.
“The charity helps to connect people and bring them together. We wanted to raise money to help a charity which cares about mental health and want to make a difference.”
