Stourport High School celebrates students’ achievements
Stand out students at Stourport High School and Sixth Form College were rewarded for their hard work and success at the annual Key Stage 4 Celebration Evening.

There were scores of subject awards for Year 10 and 11 students, highlighting academic performance, effort, improvement and as exemplary champions of school values.
Citations for each award winner were displayed and read out to the packed audience of parents, staff and fellow students.
Dr Lizzy Ford, headteacher, said: “Behind each award is a story of diligence, desire and effort leading to excellent achievement and success, which we are delighted to recognise and honour.
“I am, personally, incredibly proud of each one of them and their teachers and pastoral staff, who help and guide them and I am grateful to their parents and families for their support.”
Goncalo Anacleto won Student of the Year for Year 10, having integrated seamlessly into the school community this year, consistently embodying the school values and possessing fantastic drive to achieve his best.
Maddy Andrews took the Year 11 Student of the Year Award, for being an exemplary student whose ambition to succeed is infectious. She was described as having unstoppable drive and conducting herself with integrity, kindness and morality consistently. It was said her impact on her friends, tutor, lessons and year group had been second to none.
Head of Year Awards went to Imogen Austin, for Year 10, described an exemplary student in every way and to Summer Mound, for Year 11, for demonstrating remarkable tenacity, determination and grit.
