HR advisor wins prestigious Sue Thompson Award

The nomination was accompanied by endorsement from her HR apprenticeship provider, Crosby Management Training Ltd, which hosts the awards in honour of the late Sue Thompson – a much loved professional trainer at Crosby – who after a 17 year CIPD career with them, sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in 2017 at just 63. 

Ali House, Qualifications and Assessment Lead at CIPD, said: “I’m delighted that Sophie was awarded the Sue Thompson Award – it was an incredibly tough competition this year, with a record number of nominations showcasing so many inspiring individuals who are making a positive impact in their organisations and the wider industry.
