Mantech Machinery staff set to take on 3 Peaks Challenge in support of homelessness charity
Staff from Mantech Machinery will be lacing up their hiking boots this July to take on the iconic 3 Peaks Challenge 2025, raising crucial funds in support of Helping Hands of Birmingham, a grassroots charity dedicated to aiding individuals experiencing homelessness who recently suffered a tragic fire, destroying many essential supplies needed to continue their outreach.

The challenge will see the Mantech team climb the three highest peaks in the UK—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—within just 24 hours, covering a total of 3,064 meters (10,052 feet) over a distance of 23 miles (37 km). The physical and mental endurance required to complete this feat is significant, but the team is motivated by a cause far greater than the mountains themselves.
The initiative is being led by MMAD (Mantech Making A Difference), Mantech UK’s internal charitable foundation committed to supporting vulnerable communities. All funds raised will go directly to Helping Hands of Birmingham, whose tireless outreach work provides food, clothing, and vital support to those sleeping rough or in precarious housing conditions.
“Homelessness is on the rise, and we see the human cost behind the statistics. This challenge gives our team the opportunity to step out of the workplace and into action—raising awareness, raising money, and showing solidarity.” said a Mantech spokesperson.
The team is already in training and preparing for the challenge ahead, with donation links and fundraising updates shared regularly through MMAD’s platforms and official charity page.
