Black Country Chamber of Commerce CEO Sarah Moorhouse said: “I'm delighted to announce that entries for this year's Business Awards are now open.

"Celebrating the remarkable achievements of Black Country businesses is always a highlight, and I'm particularly excited about our plans for this year's event.
"We are passionate that we have amazing companies in our region, with these awards giving opportunities to celebrate businesses at every stage, from promising startups to established major employers.
"The awards dinner consistently proves to be an enjoyable and vibrant evening, offering valuable networking opportunities with key Black Country business leaders plus some entertaining surprises, as guests from last year's awards will vouch.
"Our winners benefit from extensive media coverage and social media promotion, making participation an excellent strategy for raising your company's profile while recognising your team's accomplishments and boosting morale."
Last year’s sell-out awards night saw more than 400 guests gather to celebrate a range of winners.
The Chamber also has a great choice of partnership opportunities to offer companies who want to raise their profile in the region.
Last year’s business of the year winner, Forkers Ltd, has already signed up to partner with the Chamber on the family business of the year category, while Sandwell College has chosen to partner the employer of the year award. The professional services business of the year category has UKO Serviced Offices as its partner and Halesowen College are partnering on sustainability, technology and innovation award.
Black Country Chamber of Commerce events & project officer Marie Shuker said: “We're seeking forward-thinking businesses to join us as partners for this year's awards programme, which will offer exceptional marketing visibility through the Chamber’s network.
“Partners will enjoy comprehensive promotional coverage throughout the awards journey, prominent branding during our prestigious ceremony, the chance to go out and meet innovative businesses through the judging process and exclusive networking opportunities with industry leaders.
“This partnership presents an ideal platform for businesses looking to enhance their profile within our thriving business community."
