Pupils at village school near Stourport reach national sporting finals
A group of pupils from Hartlebury CE Primary School, near Stourport, have won through to the national finals of a sporting challenge, after beating off strong competition at local and county levels.

The six Year 5 and 6 children claimed top spot in the Panathlon Challenge, leading the field in activities including boccia, new age kurling, table cricket, precision beanbag throwing and basketball skills.
Toni Branagh, assistant headteacher, said: “The Panathlon is a brilliant opportunity for children to compete, to shine, build friendships and feel part of a team.
“They are so excited to be heading off to the national finals which will be in Birmingham in June. It will be an incredible experience for them and we wish them the very best of luck.”
