For over 40 years, award-winning* Bri-Stor Systems, has been the trusted conversion partner to the UK’s largest fleet operators. Specialising in the transformation of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) into hard-working fleets, it offers a skilled, expert team for every stage of vehicle conversion—and the Staffordshire-based business is looking to expand the team in line with its growth. The range of positions available include roles in product design, electrical project engineering, auto-electricians and many more.

Bri-Stor Systems’ recruitment open evening will offer prospective colleagues the opportunity to take a tour of its state-of-the-art facilities, interview for their preferred role, and experience firsthand what it’s like to work for an industry-leading fleet converter.

To support its ongoing business growth, this will be Bri-Stor Systems’ fifth recruitment open evening since 2022, leading to many successful careers, including that of Darren Easton, a former RAF veteran. Darren began his journey with Bri-Stor Systems nearly three years ago as a Vehicle Conversion Inspector and has since progressed into the role of Quality Engineer.

Darren said: “I attended the open evening through a recommendation made by my son, who has now worked at Bri-Stor Systems for nearly seven years. Even though I came with little idea of my next steps, I immediately received support in helping find the role best suited to my skills.”

Alongside his current position, Darren also volunteers as an apprentice mentor, supporting the growth of younger colleagues within the business. “Being a mentor is extremely important to me,” he said. “They are the future, and the fact I’m able to contribute to that is a reward in itself.”

Bri-Stor Systems is dedicated to supporting internal growth and skill development at every level. Its brand-new Centre of Excellence—a dedicated resource for training and development, offering hands-on experience integrated with modern technology and practical learning—highlights its commitment to upskilling colleagues.

Darren shares his experience working at Bri-Stor Systems, part of The HEX Group: “It’s an extremely rewarding place to work as the business is always finding new ways to keep everyone happy and boost morale. Whether it’s supporting a Cycle to Work Scheme, offering early Friday finishes for an extended weekend, or hosting regular food and social events, at The HEX Group, the little things truly matter.”

Bri-Stor Systems’ recruitment opening evening takes place on Wednesday 9 April from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and its open to all interested in growing their career in the engineering industry.
