This year’s awards ceremony saw Bri-Stor Systems, the UK’s largest converter of light commercial vehicles, once again recognised for its outstanding contribution to innovation and sustainability, its people, and its customer-centric approach.

Since the introduction of this category at last year’s awards, Bri-Stor Systems is currently the only company to have ever been named Converter/Bodybuilder of the Year by Fleet News.

The Fleet News Awards, one of the longest-running and most prestigious events in the fleet sector, brings together more than 1,350 guests to celebrate and recognise the finest achievements across the industry.

Fleet News judges commented: ‘Bri-Stor Systems scored highly on its environmental initiatives, including solar panels to power ancillary equipment, and its people focus with investment in an apprenticeship programme. An impressive array of new products and services and a significant reduction in lead times gave it the edge in this category.’

Simon Webb, Managing Director of Bri-Stor Systems, is proud of this unprecedented achievement: "We’re honoured to be recognised as Converter/Bodybuilder of the Year once again. Winning last year was one of our proudest moments to date, but winning for a consecutive year is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone in the business. I’d also like to thank our customers and suppliers for their support, collaboration and shared commitment—we couldn’t have done it without them!"

Supporting Simon’s sentiments is Chris Mullings, Senior Manager of Fleet Operations at Openreach. As a long-time customer of Bri-Stor Systems since 1992, Chris shares: "Bri-Stor Systems has always been a trusted partner of Openreach working within the vehicle conversion space. Its consultative approach over the past year has delivered sustainability benefits, primarily focusing on innovation in livery and the development of a structured proposal to reduce engine idling and fuel spend through renewable on-board power."

With over four decades of experience in improving fleet efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness through its bespoke, complete conversion managed solution, Bri-Stor Systems continues to elevate standards in the industry.
