As the UK’s only registered charity dedicated to supporting voluntary operated emergency response, Arrive Alive plays a vital role in funding lifesaving vehicles and equipment for Community First Responders (CFRs). These medically trained volunteers are dispatched to life-threatening 999 calls and can reach emergencies in crucial seconds or minutes, utilising their proximity to the community to provide immediate assistance.
The installation of the defibrillator and bleed kit at Simworx reflects a shared commitment to community welfare and safety. Arrive Alive is solely funded by public donations, highlighting the importance of community support in enabling its mission to equip CFRs and communities with the necessary resources to save lives.
CFRs are trained to handle some of the most time-critical medical emergencies, ensuring that they are prepared to respond effectively when every second counts. All Arrive Alive vehicles are linked to the same radio network as standard road and air ambulances, allowing them to receive real-time information about emergencies following a 999 call.
Simworx, known for its cutting-edge contributions to the theme park and entertainment sector, has taken a significant step towards social responsibility by partnering with Arrive Alive. This partnership not only enhances the safety of the local community but also sets a precedent for other businesses to engage in initiatives that prioritise saving lives. Through this collaboration, both Arrive Alive and Simworx are demonstrating the power of partnership in making a meaningful impact. By enhancing access to lifesaving equipment, they are contributing to a safer environment for all community members. The publicly accessible defibrillator and bleed kit are registered on the emergency circuit, the lifesaving equipment can be accessed following a 999 call.
Arrive Alive looks forward to continuing its mission of supporting CFRs while building partnerships that foster community resilience and saving lives.

The installation of this equipment at Simworx’s headquarters is just one example of how collaborative efforts can lead to significant improvements in emergency response capabilities. To find out more about how Arrive Alive saves lives within communities visit arrivealiveresponse.co.uk.
