Scouting success for Rugeley group
1st Rugeley Scout group held a presentation evening this week on the back a successful district Swimming Gala.

The group based at Keystone Lane in Rugeley were honoured to have the local MP Josh Newbury to present certificates from the swimming gala and to those children taking positions of responsibility and to children acheiveing their top award. The children from all sections Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts also used the evening to raise funds by holding a toy sale.
Susan Williams Group Trustee said: "A fantastic evening celebrating the efforts of the children really brings home the importance of inclusive organisations like Scouting."
Following the presentation to the children the volunteer leaders were recognised with a presentation of personalised hoodies.
The group continues to go from strength to strength and welcome new members and adult volunteers.
