Help disabled children by joining the Drayton Manor 5K and 10K
Cannock-based Newlife The Charity for Disabled Children is urging people to sign up to raise funds with a very special event – the first ever Drayton Manor Resort 5k and 10k run.

While Drayton Manor in Tamworth is known to many for its thrilling rides and twisting rollercoasters, it will transform into a racetrack for the event on the morning of Sunday, 6 April, and Newlife still has places available for those who want take part for the charity and raise vital funds for to support disabled children across the Midlands and beyond.
As well as racing their way around the Drayton Manor Resort, including the Accelerator, Stormforce 10, Thomas Land and the Zoo, after they complete the fun and unusual racecourse runners will then be first in line to make full use of the rides within the park as theme park access is included in your race entry!
Choosing to run for Newlife means you not only enjoy an amazing day out, but you also have the chance to be a real-life hero too – as the funds raised from the race will make a real and lasting difference to the life of a child.
Newlife is one of the leading charity providers of specialist equipment and support for disabled and terminally ill children and their families in the UK. By providing equipment including beds, buggies, wheelchairs and car seats, Newlife helps disabled children with greater independence, mobility, and the opportunity to experience their life to its fullest. Newlife also provides emergency equipment loans when there is a medical need, loans of specialist toys and a nurse run helpline which provides a wide range of support.

Registration fees to take part in the run for Newlife are: 5k: £15, with a £125 minimum fundraising commitment and 10k: £20, with a £175 minimum fundraising commitment, but Newlife is now offering half price places – just use the code WEB50 to secure your place by registering at drayton-manor.newlifecharity.co.uk.
