£10k makeover at village school near Stourport
Children at village school near Stourport “love” the £10,000 makeover which has transformed their breakfast club and after-school base.

The mobile building at Hartlebury CE Primary School has been given a new lease of life thanks to funding from the village’s Queen Elizabeth I Foundation.
Staff and pupils marked Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt “thank you” to the foundation for their support.
Toni Branagh, assistant headteacher, said: “We are so grateful for the grant which has enabled us to create a much-improved room. With new flooring, redecoration, new furniture, games and toys, it has made such a difference.
“It’s a much calmer environment too and has a lovely reading corner. We can also use it for intervention work during the school day as well as our popular breakfast and after-school provision.”
