Graham Palmer, from Walsall, was left stunned after bagging himself a Mini Cooper S Sport worth £31,000 in BOTB’s weekly Dream Car Competition.
It comes nearly two years to the day the 52-year-old won a £32,000 Mini John Cooper Works and £15,000 in cash in the same competition.
Graham, who works for Sainsbury’s, was at home when BOTB presenter Christian Williams knocked at his door to surprise him with news of his latest big win. He also revealed the new car which was parked round the corner.
“This is wonderful,” Graham exclaimed. “I am very happy!
“After winning before, I never really thought I would win again.”
When asked what advice he’d give to other hopeful players, he simply said: “You keep on playing and never give up.”
The Mini Cooper S Sport boasts an i4 Turbo engine, 201bhp, and a top speed of 150mph - a thrilling addition to Graham’s driveway.
“It’s wicked,” Graham said, grinning as he climbed into the driver’s seat for the first time.
“I really like the shape of them, and it’s a pocket rocket.”
Graham isn’t the only Mini fan in the family. His sister is also a big admirer of the iconic car and will no doubt be keen to take his new ride for a spin.
“I won’t be able to stop her,” he added.
Christian said: “Graham is proof that lightning really can strike twice!
“Winning two fantastic Minis in two years is an incredible feat, and I couldn’t be happier for him.
“The Mini Cooper S Sport is an amazing car, and I know he can’t wait to spec it exactly how he wants.”
Leading car competitions company BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.
