Opticians sets its sights on foodbank support
A Cannock opticians has handed over more than 100 items to support the local community foodbank.
For every customer feedback survey received in December, Specsavers in Cannock Shopping Centre donated one item of non-perishable food to Cannock & District Foodbank, numbering 106 items in total.
The team visited the foodbank to hand over the items, including tinned goods and pasta, last week.
"We always welcome customer feedback to help us enhance our services, and we’re delighted to be able to support our foodbank at the same time," Jaspreet Dhaliwal, store director at Specsavers Cannock, comments. "The ongoing cost-of-living crisis remains challenging for lots of people, and we want to do our bit to help. Thank you to everyone who completed a feedback survey so that we were able to donate so many items."
