The college’s campuses at Paget Road in Compton and Wellington Road in Bilston will be open from 10am to 2pm, for people to talk to tutors and enrol on courses starting during the month.

Part-time programmes include automotive maintenance, basic property maintenance, cake decoration, cyber security, fitness instruction, mental health first aid, nail technology and plastering; creative courses in acting and singing, interior design, jewellery and pottery; and training for those who want to work in the early years and education sector including awards in education and training or special educational needs.

Also on offer are free short courses to teach the skills needed to work in specific sectors - such as administration, construction groundworks, electric and hybrid vehicles, health and social care, hospitality, laying and maintenance of rail track, retail and West Midlands Metro - and programmes to improve English and maths skills.

People interested in studying full-time can find out vocational courses and higher education qualifications starting in September 2025, and those who want to earn while they learn can talk to college staff about apprenticeship training and vacancies with local employers.
