Year 13 students at the school took part in organising and hosting the event in which senior citizens from the local Penkridge community were invited to attend.

Miss Turner, Assistant Head, and Year 13 students took part in hosting their annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party in Wolgarston High School’s Sixth Form Centre. There was even a visit from Father Christmas too.

“It was such a pleasure to welcome local residents associated with Penkridge's Royal British Legion branch and from Pencric retirement living to our Christmas Party. We really enjoyed their participation in our quiz and some very competitive 'pass the parcel' games," said Miss Turner, "A big thank you from me to our local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle, Miss Roberts for her excellent photography and to the sixth form student leadership team who did such a fantastic job of organising the event from start to finish."
