Taylor Wimpey West Midlands is building new homes in Sutton Coldfield at Lindridge Chase and invited residents from in and around the local area to vote for a local cause to receive a helping hand, with Outreach Angels receiving the most nominations.

A not for profit organisation based in and around Birmingham, Outreach Angels provide weekly support for the homeless and those in need. The group provides everything from essential items such as underwear and toiletries to hot drinks and food. The group is solely reliant on donations and volunteers.

Liz and Sally, Organisers at Outreach Angels, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their donation and to all those that nominated us in the competition.

“As a voluntary organisation, we are entirely reliant on the generosity of our supporters and our volunteers and this donation has meant that we can continue with our work and support the most vulnerable across Sutton Coldfield and the wider Birmingham area.”

Ben Walker, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, said: “We would like to thank the local community for nominating so many worthy causes in our Community Chest competition in Sutton Coldfield.

“At Taylor Wimpey, we are proud to support local groups and organisations like Outreach Angels, who work so hard to support those in need. We hope that the £1,000 goes a long way to help Outreach Angels to continue their vital work in the community.”
