The library is remaining open whilst the new lift is installed, and staff are always happy to help anyone who needs assistance.
Operating under the Better brand, Brierley Hill Library is run by not-for-profit social enterprise GLL on behalf of Dudley Council.
“The lift stopped functioning about two weeks after the library reopened following refurbishment earlier this year,” said Annette Templar, GLL’s Sector Library Manager.
“We’re very grateful to council colleagues for their hard work in identifying grant funding and look forward the new lift being operational before the Christmas period.”
