Wolves’ Ruben Neves and Villa’s Conor Hourihane have both been nominated for the Championship Goal of the Month award ahead of their derby meeting.

Neves and Hourihane are in the running for their respective strikes.

Neves is on the shortlist for his long-range curler against Sheffield United on February 3, while Hourihane's stunning volley in the Second City Derby also made the cut. They will be up against Billy Sharp (Sheffield United), Jamie Allen (Burton), Liam Kelly (Reading) and ex-Wolves loanee Adam Le Fondre (Bolton).

Wolves striker Ducken Nazon – on loan at Oldham – is up for the League One prize, against team-mate Cameron Dunnigan and Shrewsbury's Alex Rodman.
