Hornets sting their rivals again to claim the double
Phoenix Hornets are buzzing after completing a league and cup double in the Wolverhampton City Netball League.
Having already clinched the Division One title, Hornets doubled up by netting the Open Cup thanks to a tense 32-27 success against Chasetown A.
Libra Lea Teal took the Plate final after holding off Breezers to triumph 22-16.
Division Two champions Phoenix also had cause for a double celebration. They beat Ladybirds 37-25 in the final on the Non-winners Cup to add to their silverware haul.
Sam 4 will join Phoenix in the top flight next season after securing the runners-up spot.
