W&B trio race to Midlands title success
Wolverhampton & Bilston Athletics Club trio Zoe Gilbody, Isabelle Jones and Scarlett Williams are the pride of the Midlands.
The talented trio left their rivals trailing as they powered their way to glory in the Midland 3 Stage Road Relays race.
The event took place in Sutton Coldfield and the youngsters dominated from start to finish as they won with over a minute to spare. And Gilbody had further cause for celebration after also bagging an individual award.
She picked up the fastest under-13 girls’ medal for her time of 14 minutes 39 seconds for the 3.88km course.
