Stile pulled off a major shock as they claimed the spoils in their bottom-versus-top clash with Dudley Dell A in the Dudley Building Society League.

The hosts gave their battle against relegation a boost with a 9-5 success. Jamie Holdcroft showed excellent green knowledge in his 21-4 victory over Simon Homer while Andy James and Danny Statham weighed in with vital 21-10 wins for the Stile.
Jamie Wyer (21-13) and Nathan Dawes (21-14) produced the two best cards for table-topping Dell.
Defending champions Chadsmoor are slowly creeping into the title hunt and they enjoyed a comfortable 11-3, 80-shot home victory over Glasscutters.
Matt Fellows played well to defeat Lynn Morgan 21-13 and was ably supported by Stuart Edwards (21-7) and Mark Selley (21-8). Claire Pugh once again demonstrated why she is one of the top female players in the area with a 21-9 victory over Andy Roberts.
Woodfield pushed hosts Penn hard before going down 9-5 and by 34 shots. Lyndon Hazelhurst (21-13) produced the best card for Woodfield, but Ron Justice (21-5) returned to form to set up the win for Penn.
M&B Cheslyn Hay continued their fine form with a 10-4 win at home to ECC.
Crag Dace produced a stunning performance to defeat the highly-rated Jamie King 21-3. John Price was also in good form on his home green to beat David Lloyd 21-7 in the 48-shot victory.
