Tipton in tip top form again as he nets another victory
Kevin Tipton maintained his impressive form to claim victory in the Patshull Park Open.
The Hotel Bank Section of the Great Lake saw action and it was a hard-fought match as conditions were flat calm and the water was gin clear.
In-form Wednesfield-rod Tipton (Sensas) went one better than in his previous outing as he topped the charts.
Just six ounces decided the outcome for the top three and fishing the slider with caster and maggot over pellet and groundbait, Tipton found 15 skimmers for 9-10-0.
Duncan Biddle (Rod & Gun) was a close second from peg 33, where he weighed in 9-8-0.

Drawn on peg 188, Turner started off pole-fishing bread punch, then tried squatt and pinkie before changing to caster down the track which paid big dividends for the rest of the day as he scaled an unassailable 14-4-4 top catch of perch to 2½lb plus roach and skimmers.
Telford's Dave Hill followed with 10-14-0, leaving Calf Heath rod Steve Dudley (Sensas Black Country) in third with a 9-5-12 from peg 186.
Halesowen RBL members set up along the towpath of the Staffs & Worcester Canal in Castlecroft, Wolverhampton where Garry Mason clinched the win.
