Ride Staffs is coming to Shugborough
The sixth annual Ride Staffs festival comes to Shugborough with organisers promising those who attend a family friendly way to spend the weekend.
The event, which takes place from Friday to Sunday, will be a mix of pro cycle races, family fun, great food and drink on the grounds of Shugborough Hall.
Some of the country's elite cyclists competing during the weekend's two pro races, which will be spread over Friday and Saturday night respectively.
First comes the Ride Staffs GP, presented by Specialized at 8pm on Friday, before the Ride Staffs Kermesse, sponsored by Risual, from 7pm on Saturday.
In addition to this, you'll also see all the action from the Grand Depart of the Tour de France on the big screen at the venue.
Elephant Bike racing is another attraction on Friday, along with free kids' Strider balance bike races on Saturday.
The Tour de France will also be televised on Sunday, as local riders take on the challenge of the festival's two Sportive routes. To plan your visit head to www.ridestaffs.co.uk.
