Wolves duo nominated for monthly awards

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award for February, with Ruben Neves in the running for the players' honour.

Nuno guided his side to three wins and two draws over the course of the month in the top flight.

Wins over Arsenal, Southampton and Leeds helped Wolves climb the table, with draws against Leicester and Newcastle ensuring the side went unbeaten in the league over the month.

Nuno is joined by Pep Guardiola, Thomas Tuchel and Scott Parker in the running for the honour.

Fans can vote for their choice here until March 8. Votes from fans will be combined with a panel of football experts to determine the winner.

Neves meanwhile, is up against Raphinha, Jesse Lingard, Ilkay Gundogan, Bruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo, Harvey Barnes and Joachim Andersen in the battle for the players' award.

The Portuguese midfielder netted three goals and also registered one assist over the course of the month - playing an integral role in the team's success.
