Wolves into quarter-finals of FIFA 20 Ultimate QuaranTeam tournament
Wolves are through to the quarter-finals of the FIFA 20 Ultimate QuaranTeam tournament - after beating Mansfield Town this week.
The tournament, set-up by League Two side Leyton Orient, was planned to fill the void left by professional football following the suspension of sport across the globe - but has since raised more than £55,000 for charity.
Originally starting with 128 teams, Wolves are one of just two British sides left in the competition alongside Championship side Middlesbrough.
Beating Adelaide United in the first round, Wolves, represented by professional FIFA player Flavio De Almeida Brito who's part of the club's eSports team, went on to beat Sligo Rovers, Grimsby Town and Mansfield to book their place in the last eight.
They're now set to face Swiss side FC Sion as they aim to make the semi-finals of the competition.
Games are being streamed live on Twitch, for fans keen to watch the action, whilst supporters are also being urged to donate to the competition's cause, which is aiming to raise £100,000 for EFL clubs struggling during the coronavirus suspension, as well as the charity Mind and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.
