Enobakhare scored six goals in 18 appearances during a successful loan spell with the League One Sky Blues last season where he produced a series of dazzling performances.
Boss Mark Robins hailed the youngster as 'outstanding'.
Enobakhare's contract was due to expire this summer before Wolves took up their option to extend it by a year.
Coventry chief executive Dave Boddy told the Coventry Telegraph: "We could still potentially buy him or take him on loan again.
“It depends on what he wants to do really. I think Wolves are waiting to see what he does.”
