Rui Patricio

Ended the season as he’d spent large chunks of it – with little to do in terms of saves to make. Stopped a rasper from Robertson and made a couple of other regulation saves. Couldn’t be blamed for the goals. Kicking was sound. 6/10

Ryan Bennett

Eight clearances in total from Bennett, who also made a couple of important blocks. Mane has come in from the left for both goals, but it’s hard to point the finger. Also got a big laugh from the press box when he so blatantly tripped Mane on the counter to earn a booking. 7/10

Conor Coady

Perhaps slightly edgy in the early stages, but he grew into the game and was the pick of the back three. Brought the ball out with confidence and purpose, playing some searching passes. Saved one of his best performances of the season for last and ends the campaign having played every single minute of every game in all competitions – the only top-flight player to do so in 2018/19. He must be absolutely knackered. A true captain. 8/10

Willy Boly

Another commanding display from the Frenchman, who was rock solid throughout. Confident and assured on the ball, rarely gave it away and his positioning was sound. Eight clearances was the most on the pitch along with Bennett. 8/10

Matt Doherty

Terrorised Liverpool in the second half with a bold display of attacking intentions. Consistently got in behind Robertson and picked out Jimenez and Jota for two big chances with perfect passes. Also hit the bar in the first half. Man of the match. 8/10

Joao Moutinho

Created umpteen chances last weekend, but none here – he found it difficult to exert his usual dominance against Henderson, Wijnaldum and Fabinho. Still rarely gave it away and started a few attacks in the second half. Worked so hard, as always. 7/10

Ruben Neves

The vast majority of Wolves’ midfield play went through Neves, who touched the ball more than any Wolves player, but was lacking in piercing passes. Four tackles was more than anyone on the pitch – but he was in turn tackled by the ref! 7/10

Leander Dendoncker

A couple of good moments of destructive play as he broke things up in midfield. Overall though, his role was a secondary one – the game passed him by for spells and he touched the ball only 36 times, fewer than any Wolves player. 6/10

Jonny Castro Otto

A slow start, but like the team he grew throughout the game. One gallivant forward almost led to the opener when Doherty hit the bar. And he had a promising shot blocked after the break. Alexander-Arnold was behind him to deliver assists for both goals. 7/10

Raul Jimenez

A couple of really cute dummies helped create two of Wolves’ biggest chances, when Doherty hit the bar and Jota was denied by Alisson. Lovely link-up play However, his finishing was pretty wayward. Not his day, but what a season. 6/10

Diogo Jota

Like his partner in crime, it didn’t really happen for Jota. Fed Doherty for that shot off the bar, but he’ll have been disappointed not to score when the Irishman later returned the favour. Plenty of endeavour, just lacking a finishing touch. 6/10
