Ruben Neves' memorable strike has won the EFL Goal of the Year award.

The Portuguese midfielder's effort was shortlisted for the award alongside Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn's memorable strike against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season and three others.

Neves' volley at Molineux claimed the award though, having been scored over the 2018 calendar year.

The midfielder memorably took a touch before unleashing the unstoppable strike from more than 30 yards out during the 2-0 victory last season, as Nuno's side cruised to the Championship title.
