Nuno Espirito Santo's side travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday looking to complete the double over the Blues.

Chelsea may be only one place above seventh-placed Wolves in the table but 13 points separate the sides and Wolves haven't won at Stamford Bridge since 1979, eight visits ago.

Wolves face Manchester United a week tomorrow in their highly-anticipated FA Cup clash at a packed Molineux.

Ruddy, when asked if the players were talking about the cup game, said: "No, and the manager wouldn't let us think any other way.

"We have to make sure we are concentrating on the next game because as we saw at Huddersfield, if we are not quite on it you get found out, especially at this level in this league.

"We'll go to Stamford Bridge, which is not an easy place to go, and we will look to build on last Saturday and take whatever we can into the United game."

Wolves have impressed against the big teams this season, showing a fearless approach.

"That is how we have embraced every game knowing we can match teams in their play," Ruddy said.

"We showed that on Saturday – some of the football on show was fantastic and as a supporter I am sure it was a joy to watch."

The 32-year-old has endured a frustrating season in the league, playing second fiddle to Rui Patricio who is expected to be back in goal on Sunday.

Ruddy said that fact former keeper Nuno understands his plight helps.

"He understands the position obviously and how difficult it can be, whether you are playing or not," Ruddy added.

"He is well aware of that and is a very good man manager anyway.

"He deals with the situations as they need dealing with and I have never had a problem with him.

"He has been brilliant for me and brilliant for the club."
