Captain Conor Coady: Wolves have set the standard
Wolves have 'set the standard' they should aspire to in their last two victories over West Ham and Everton, captain Conor Coady believes.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side beat the Hammers 3-0 in a dominant 90-minute display and followed it up with a convincing 3-1 victory at Goodison Park on Saturday, taking their goals tally to 12 in four games in the process.
Coady produced one of several outstanding individual performances against the Toffees.
And he said: "I think we've set the standard.
"We were brilliant on Tuesday and sometimes when you go away, we've got some great players on the counter and the way we played and set up was spot on.
"I love playing (my) role for the team and for the manager. To play with the team I do makes it a lot easier.
"The boys were outstanding – we picked up where we left off on Tuesday, which was a big thing for us.
"We'll enjoy this one, we really will."
Play was bizarrely interrupted for more than two minutes by a black cat running on the pitch.
"Bit odd weren't it!" Coady said. "A few of the boys were panicking saying it was bad luck!
"But we held on for seven minutes of injury time."
