Molineux officials, though, aren't giving up hope that something may arise on the final day and are continuing to search the market looking for a last-minute deal to bolster the squad.

Spanish international Otto is set to join on a £15million permanent deal on Thursday after impressing during his loan spell so far.

Wolves do, though, face a busy 24 hours of outgoing transfers with five players looking to resolve their futures before tomorrow's 11pm deadline.

Striker Leo Bonatini is weighing up offers from clubs in the Championship and overseas and will be allowed to leave on loan whether a new striker is signed or not.

Forgotten man Dominic Iorfa, who's been with the under-23s this season, has an offer to move to the MLS, as well as Championship interest.

Donovan Wilson is likely to switch to a League One or League Two club on loan, with Exeter City the current frontrunners.

Wolves also hope to attract a loan move for striker Joe Mason, while young midfielder Connor Ronan is likely to move overseas on loan.

Two players have departed the club today.

Midfielder Ben Stevenson, who joined from Coventry last January and had been on loan at Colchester and Jumilla, has gone back to Colchester on a permanent deal.

And striker Aaron Collins, who was signed by Kenny Jackett in 2016, had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
