'Premier League' Bright Enobakhare is outstanding says Coventry boss Mark Robins

Enobakhare is on loan with the League One Sky Blues for the rest of the season.

He spent the first half of the campaign with Scottish Premiership outfit Kilmarnock, making only two league starts.

The 20-year-old has already equalled that number with Coventry, starting against AFC Wimbledon and Plymouth in consecutive weeks.

And although Robins' team lost 2-1 at Home Park on Saturday, the boss was full of praise for Enobakhare's performance. He utilised him in the 10 role, behind lone striker Conor Chaplin in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Robins told CoventryLive: "The quality he has in his feet is unbelievable.

"It might look like a diamond up front at times but I am just looking for fluid movement

"It’s good because we have got clever players – and Bright is outstanding."

Enobakhare does need to up his work rate, though, Robins believes.

"He’s a Premier League quality player but he has just got to learn to work hard and have that League One/League Two work ethic around him because he’s that type of player who is easy on the eye." he added.

"The weight of pass is always right but he’s going to make mistakes because he’s still only 20 years of age.

"But he’s Premier League quality and I want him to come here and I want him to smash it.

"He was outstanding in the first half against Plymouth, as they all were."

PlymouthLive’s Argyle reporter Chris Errington was certainly impressed with Enobakhare.

He wrote: "There have not been many more eye-catching performances against Plymouth Argyle at Home Park this season than the one from Bright Enobakhare on Saturday.

"He might not be known too much around League One at the moment but he soon will be with more displays like the one he produced against Argyle."

Several other Wolves loanees featured at the weekend including club captain Danny Batth who made his 13th appearance for Middlesbrough, playing the full 90 minutes as Boro drew 1-1 with Millwall.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell was handed his first start for Rochdale in a 1-1 draw against Fleetwood Town.

Jordan Graham made his fourth appearance for Oxford United, starting on the left wing, with his cross leading to ex-Wolves man James Henry netting the second goal in a 2-1 win over leaders Portsmouth.

Centre-half Connor Johnson made his second consecutive start for Walsall as they won 3-0 away at Gillingham.

Kortney Hause was an unused substitute for Villa as they drew 2-2 against Hull City.
