Wednesday's fabulous comeback victory over the Blues has restored the feelgood factor to Molineux after a miserable couple of weeks.

Defender Ryan Bennett, who excelled against Chelsea, says the focus is now on climbing the table.

"We'll be trying to achieve that top 10 finish but we'll see what happens," Bennett told TalkSport.

"To finish in the top half in your first season is tough. A lot of people outside the club have been saying that's where we should be, but we know within the squad how hard it's going to be.

"You look at the dip we just had and it makes you realise how hard it is in this league.

"We knew it was going to be hard coming into the season.

"There were always going to be points within the season where things were going to be tough.

"It's how you get through them and we managed to do that the other night against Chelsea so it's nice to be back on track."

Nuno Espirito Santo's team travel to face Newcastle United on Sunday looking to start putting together a run of consistent results.

Bennett says they're going to St James' Park with the clear aim of returning with all three points.

"The aim is to win, that's the aim in every game," he added.

"We found it tough in the last couple of games against Huddersfield and Cardiff but obviously with a good result at Chelsea we're looking to take that into the game at Newcastle.

"It's a tough place to go but we're looking at getting all three points.

"It's a difficult game, especially away from home, the fans get right behind them.

"Every game in this league is hard. We're working hard in training, hopefully we'll put our plans into practice and get the three points.

"The league is tough, teams are generally a lot better, the movement, pace and power in this league is improving every year.

"It's becoming harder to defend. We work as a back three which sometimes helps, you've always got someone else alongside you and a bit more cover than you'd generally get in a two.

"That benefits us. The pace and power can be frightening and sometimes hard to deal with."

Morgan Gibbs-White starred in the Chelsea win on what was his first Premier League.

Bennett believes the 'sky is the limit' for the teenager.

"He's still the youngest in the squad and it's always a surprise when someone mentions his age, you look at him in training or games and he takes it within his stride and plays beyond his years," Bennett added

"I think the sky is the limit. If he carries on developing the way he is you'll be hearing a lot more of him."
