Rui Patricio

Some good stuff – particularly a brilliant flying save to deny a top-corner-bound Harry Kane shot – and some bad stuff, i.e. his wayward kicking in the second half. Strangely kept his hands by his side for Kane's rebounded third. 6/10

Ryan Bennett

Lucas Moura popped up behind him with a free header for the second goal. Lacked a bit of composure in possession sometimes and generally fell below the high standards he's set this season. 6/10

Conor Coady

Led a bit of a merry dance by Erik Lamela for the third goal but otherwise he produced some excellent moments, particularly in the second half when sweeping up a few Spurs counter attacks. Good distribution too – one of his best performances of the season, despite the scoreline. 8/10

Willy Boly

At times he was a brick wall, at times he got caught out positionally, especially in the lead-up to the first goal when there's a hole to drive a train through between him and Jonny. Sometimes he makes it look so easy and then in the next instance he'll switch off. 6/10

Matt Doherty

Found it tough to impose himself in the Spurs half, although it wasn't for a lack of trying. One excellent moment when he barged into the box to head back for Jimenez's 'goal', incorrectly ruled out for offside. Otherwise he had a fairly uneventful evening. 6/10

Joao Moutinho

A pretty quiet game for Moutinho whose pass accuracy (82 per cent) was down on his usual standard. Didn't have a big impact and was substituted on the hour. Set pieces were poor too. 5/10

Ruben Neves

Improved as the game went on and seemed to enjoy himself more alongside Morgan Gibbs-White when Wolves started chasing the game at 3-0 down. Good energy and drive. Scored his second goal of the season with a nicely taken spot kick, after missing his previous two for Wolves (at Sheffield United last season and against Ajax in pre-season). 7/10

Jonny Castro Otto

Jointly responsible with Boly for allowing Lamela so much room for the first goal and doesn't do much to stop Trippier's cross for the second. Popped up all over the pitch at times but he didn't do a huge amount going forward. 5/10

Helder Costa

Totally anonymous in the first half and absolutely electric at times in the second. Was the driving force behind Wolves' great start to the second half, teeing up Jimenez and then forcing a save from Lloris at his near post. Was looking back to his best – and then he goes and spoils it all with a poor miss when put clean through by Gibbs-White. Simply has to score that. 7/10

Raul Jimenez

Incredibly unfortunate to see his goal ruled out in the first – it was a cute and controlled finish too, with the outside of his boot. Led the line with aplomb once more and did get his goal eventually, from the penalty spot. An all-action display. 7/10

Ivan Cavaleiro

A first start of the season and clearly not 100 per cent fit yet but he did enough to earn a second start at Arsenal next weekend. Looked to make things happen, swung over a couple of decent crosses and tried to take his man on. More to come from him, for sure. 6/10

Substitutes

Morgan Gibbs-White (for Moutinho, 62)

He has arrived. Handed his big chance by Nuno, with 28 minutes to impress rather than five, and boy did he do just that. Took the game by the scruff of the neck and inspired his more senior colleagues with a performance of gumption, positivity, character and vibrancy. This was like the Gibbs-White of last season – he got his head up, he looked to make things happen, he played incisive passes and he ran at defenders. What a pass for that Costa chance too. The South Bank sang his name as the teams left the field. A superstar in the making and offers Wolves something different and unpredictable in midfield. 9/10

Leo Bonatini (for Cavaleiro, 62)

A surprise to see him sent on ahead of Traore or Vinagre but he played his part in Wolves' rousing comeback, contributing to winning both penalties in the build-up. Missed his big chance when nicely teed up by Costa. 7/10

Adama Traore (for Costa, 84)

Embarked on a couple of trademark runs but six minutes wasn't long enough. Should have been sent on earlier. N/A

Subs not used: Ruddy, Dendoncker, Hause, Vinagre.
