Miranda left Wolves' pre-season training camp in Switzerland on Monday night to fly to Greece and finalise the move.
The 27-year-old fell out of favour last season, only making two league appearances this side of Christmas.
He joined for £2.5million from Nuno's former club Rio Ave last summer and was initially a regular in the Wolves defence, playing the first 14 matches of the league season before being dropped after a 2-1 defeat at QPR.
In December he was named as part of a police investigation into match-fixing in Portugal.
He was one of four suspected of wrong-doing following Portuguese Primeira League game between Rio Ave and Feirense.
Wolves will now almost certainly strengthen in central defence. They have five senior centre halves on their books – Willy Boly, Ryan Bennett, Danny Batth, Conor Coady and Kortney Hause.
