Ivan Cavaleiro responds to Wolves transfer speculation
Ivan Cavaleiro has responded to speculation about his future by stating Wolves is 'his club'.
Reports have linked the Portuguese forward with a surprise £12million move to fellow Premier League side Huddersfield Town.
However as reported in the Express & Star yesterday, it's believed those links have no substance. It's understood the Terriers made a tentative inquiry about Cavaleiro's availability and were given short shrift.
Now Cavaleiro has tweeted to clear up his future, posting a picture of himself in action for Wolves and saying: "Looking forward to start the season with my club."
Cavaleiro joined Wolves from Monaco for a then club record £7m in 2016.
The 24-year-old was one of Nuno Espirito Santo's key players during Wolves' Championship title-winning campaign, scoring nine goals and laying on 12 assists.
