Wolves could go up on Saturday if Fulham don't beat Brentford – but if not Nuno Espirito Santo's team need to beat their local rivals on Sunday to go up.

"Finally (we are close)," Jota said.

"It's a long journey, we all wait for this moment – a game that just depends on us to win promotion.

"I don't think there'll be pressure and nerves. We know our job, it's a derby also and we need to win to please our fans and guarantee our goal.

"We've played a lot of games, now we're so close and we have to give the final kick."

Jota scored an excellent opening goal in the 2-0 win over Derby on Wednesday – his 16th strike of the season – but that was overshadowed by Ruben Neves' wondergoal.

"It's unfair for me!" Jota joked. "No, it was an unbelievable goal and one of the best of the season in all competitions in the world.

"Ruben scores six goals (this season) and all of them great, but this one in particular was incredible.

"We know we had to get back to winning ways at home and I think it was one of the best at home this season.

"We know when we score first things seem to be easier for us, so we know we have to start games well.

"Fortunately for me I scored. Our team has quality from the back with technique, that's how our team is so things like this can happen.

"I think we made a really good job, all of the team."
