Wolves announce tribute to John 'Foz' Hendley ahead of FA Cup game against Swansea
Wolves will pay tribute to much-loved club employee John 'Foz' Hendley with a special commemoration ahead tomorrow's FA Cup tie against Swansea City.
Foz had been a Wolves fan since he was 15 years-old and had long been affiliated with the club in a variety of roles.
Mr Hendley death at the age 67 was announced by the club earlier this week.
Supporters are urged to arrive at Molineux early as a commemorative video will be played on the big screens 15 minutes before kick-off.
The club say after the sides walk out, and shortly before kick-off, a minute’s applause will be held in Foz’s memory.
And, during the applause, commemorative wreaths will be placed in front of both the North Bank and the South bank.
As a mark of respect, players will also wear black armbands during the fixture.
Foz’s friends and family have been invited to attend alongside a list of former players and managers including Jody Craddock, Geoff Palmer, Mel Eves, John McAlle, Gerry Taylor, Colin Brazier, Phil Parkes and Dave Jones.
