Morgan Gibbs-White: Wolves teenager stars as England U17s reach World Cup final

Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White starred for his country as England's Under-17s side beat Brazil to land a World Cup Final spot.

Gibbs-White lined up for the Young Lions as they won their FIFA Under-17 World Cup semi-final 3-1 this afternoon.

A hat-trick from Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster sent England final where they will face the winners of Spain or Mali in Saturday's final.

Gibbs-White was in the starting line-up as Steve Cooper's side weathered the 29C heat and humidity in India to take victory.

The Wolves prospect tweeted his joy at reaching the final, saying: "Speechless right now. World Cup Final here we come!! Crazy feeling beating a top side Brazil 3-1."

Stafford-born Gibbs-White struck England's decisive third goal in Saturday's 4-1 FIFA Under-17 World Cup quarter-final win against the United States in Goa to book a last-four clash with Brazil, who progressed by beating Germany 2-1.
